Philippine Kalinga Headhunter Warrior's Axe, Igorot

Description

These axes are one of the most elegant yet menacing of all tribal weapons. Examples of this vintage and quality are now very rare. The decorated handle is all original featuring a profusion of elegant cutwork and embossed sheet brass. The blade is very sharp and polished to a sheen. It In good condition, however, it is metal end cap has some loss on the side. Often times this delicate pieces is missing completely. Presented on a custom metal display stand.
