This spoon with classic standing male Bulul figure is the oldest one we've had! It shows significant wear and used as evidenced by the worn fragmented top knot, the muted face, the encrusted layered patina on the bowl and the deep reddish black patina. Note the treatment on its back showing the spine and scapulas. In the old days especially fine wooden spoons like this were used at feasts by the guests of wealthy hosts. Fine old-world craftsmanship like this is very hard to find now. Presented on a custom Lucite base.
