Provenance: Ifugao people of North Luzon, Philippines — acquired by Henry Beyer (grandson of Dr. Henry Otley Beyer, "the Father of Philippine Anthropology") from the Ifugao people, then acquired by William Galvin, in whose collection it remained for 12 years before passing to a collector/dealer from whom it was subsequently acquired.
Age: circa 1900s. Mounted on 23" x 8" wood with two boar skulls. Packed weight up to approximately 5kg for safer transport.
